	Historical and geographical aspects of population development in the town of Jindřichův Hradec CHLAŇ, Martin This bachelor thesis examines the long-term population development of the city of Jindřichův Hradec and its historical and geographical aspects. Specific development of the city and its current status is analyzed in the context of settlement in the region of South Bohemia. Research was focused primarily on the time frame between years 1869 and 2011 when industrialization brought about the rapid development of settlements in the region of South Bohemia. In the first part of the bachelor thesis are sketched inaugural hypothesis for this work. Subsequently, the work deals with the characteristics of the region and the city of Jindřichův Hradec. Further parts of the bachelor thesis are devoted to the analysis and subsequent comparison of the population development of town of Jindřichův Hradec and other selected cities. The main findings of the research are synthesised in the synthesis part and there is also situated the prediction of the population development of the town of Jindřichův Hradec. 	Historical and geographical aspects of population development in the town of Strakonice KLUČKA, Štěpán This thesis examines historical and geographical aspects of the long-term population development in the city of Strakonice. The monitored town has evolved very specifically throughout it's history. The entire population development in the city of Strakonice is compared to other selected towns in this thesis. The research is mainly related to the period from 19th century to the present. The study is composed of an introduction explaining its principle objectives and initial hypothesis. The next chapter depicts basic characteristics of the geographical and historical development of Strakonice and other units. The related analytical part of thesis deals with searching for the causes of differences in selected towns and their comparison in defined stages. The synthetic part summarizes the most significant aspects and specific characteristics of population development in selected towns and makes a conclusion to indicate possible future situation. The final section summarizes the results and benefits of work. The whole thesis is accompanied by graphs and map outputs. Detailed record
	Historical and geographical aspects of population development in Černovice PEKAŘ, Jan This thesis deals with historical and geographical aspects of long-term population development in the city of Černovice. Research is mainly related to the period of 19th and 20th century. During this period, each settlement went through a development which was influenced by many aspects (natural, social, cultural, economic, political). For the industrial period population size of cities can be considered as fully adequate indicator for monitoring the status of the comprehensive development and position. The The main aim, which is based on a detailed analysis of population development, is to clarify the roots of its present condition, size and position in the Czech settlement system. This study also searches for determinants, causalities and the specifics of this development in the wider regional context. The final section summarizes the results and benefits of work.
